I'm very excited to announce that "A Big Love Story (Worth the Weight)" just signed a world-wide distribution deal! The roll out to a media outlet near you will start this summer. Can't wait for everyone to see the film that hasn't had a chance to yet. And for those of you that are wondering, the change in title was a marketing decision. Apparently films whose titles start with a letter from the beginning of the alphabet sell better than ones that start with a letter from the end of the alphabet. It will always be "the little film that could" in my heart though. A big shout out to the cast and crew, especially director Ryan Sage. Congrats everyone!

May 2, 2012

I'm excited to announce that Worth the Weight won the Audience Choice Award in the Beverly Hills Film Festival! The film also enjoyed a well received screening in the Newport Beach Film Festival the same weekend, and will be screening next month in the Dances with Films Festival at the famous Hollywood Chinese Theaters in Los Angeles.

March 2, 2012

Worth the Weight, a feature that I scored for director Ryan Sage, will be premiering at the Cinequest film festival tonight. Congrats to the the cast and crew for all their hard work on this fun romantic comedy! More details coming soon...

September 29, 2011

I'm excited to announce that I am now represented in Film & Television by Doug Rappaport of Rappapod Media Group. I will continue to be represented by Bob Rice in Video Games.

The Comic Jumper music received a great review from Original Sound Version. Read it here and scroll down to get to my part of the review. You can also read my part on my reviews page.

I updated the music for games page with some tracks from Comic Jumper. Also, I'm trying out the Soundcloud streaming service to see how that works.

I've worked on some fun projects in recent months. I helped ABC with a promo for Dancing with the Stars that aired during the 2010 World Cup Final by arranging the show's theme song for the vuvuzela. You can view the spot here on my youtube channel.

I composed music for the multi-player levels of Ms. Splosion Man (my first sequel!), Twisted Pixel Games' latest foray into the realm of 'Splode for Xbox Live Arcade. Look for it to 'splode onto an XBox near you in the fall of 2011.

And I scored three short films as well:

James Wood's Life After Dogma explores conflicting cultures intersecting in the afterlife.

Ryan Sage's Withstand One Night is the tale of a one night stand gone awry.

The Day Abby Went into David's Backyard (also by Ryan Sage) is about moments of opportunity, and what could have been.

More projects in the works - keep checking back!

June 29, 2010

The crew from Twisted Pixel Games showed Comic Jumper at E3 earlier this month. Some of my music from the game is featured in the trailer. There is also a walkthrough of the Silver Age section of the game for which I composed the music.

I also composed music for two informational videos for The Coral Reef Alliance, Who We Are and What We Do. Please visit CORAL's website to learn more about the important work that they do, and what you can do to help.

March 10, 2010

I've started working on Comic Jumper, the next gem for Xbox LIVE from the maniacs at Twisted Pixel Games. The music will evoke some classic Adventure and Sci Fi sounds from the 50's and 60's. This is gonna be a fun one folks!

The 'Music for Games' page has been updated, and now includes some of the tracks from 'Splosion Man.

December 17, 2009

Just a quick update to congratulate the team at Twisted Pixel Games on the nomination of Splosion Man for the Spike Video Game Awards 2009 - way to go guys! Some of my music from the game was featured as part of their profile segment too - cool!

May 26, 2009

I'm just wrapping up the multi-player music for 'Splosion Man, a 2.5D action/platform game being developed for Xbox Live Arcade by Twisted Pixel Games. I've created a fun, funky & rockin' soundtrack that should be 'sploding on an Xbox near you sometime later this year. Kapow!

I have been honored with a Telly Award for my score for The Moment, a film produced by Hotbed Media for the International Risk Management Institute. For this particular project, I first arranged the composition in the style of a classical string ensemble and then produced the piece by layering live string players over their electronic counterparts. With this approach, I was able to achieve the effect of a much larger ensemble at a fraction of the cost. Read the full release here, or view The Moment here. This is my second Telly Award.
